Half full or half empty?

There are those moments in life,

When they are neither in the right,

Nor on the wrong;

They don’t bring light;

Nor are dark,

They are on the fence.

You cannot hold on to them,

You cannot let them go.

Life seems full with them, but wrong,

And life seems dull without, but right.

You choose right over dull, you are not yourself,

You choose full over wrong, life is not simple.

Go days and years in this battle,

To mend the fence, and blur the line,

When finally the moments fall apart,

Half here, half there.

Now the glass is half full or half empty,

Is all on the eyes that see,

But you have lived the life on fence,

Neither here, nor there, in the middle?

Or

Half here, half there, with flavours of both?
